A forgalmazás során kiderült, hogy szükség van ponyvás változatra is.
A katonai kivitelt terepszínű ponyvával szállítjuk. Íme!
After turning the wood, we polish the base to fit the clock. I give one year’s guarantee for the German-made clock from the date of purchase.
A simple but “powerful” decoration to add to the Christmas feeling. After we have sawed the tree branch, my apprentices do their magic to make it into a Father Christmas.
It is made from turned wood. It can be ordered with corks for the numbers. Backwards-turning clocks can also be specially ordered.
This is an imaginative alternative to a bell. There are places for screws so it can be attached to the door. The bird (made of black locust wood) makes a knocking sound when the string is pulled.
The parts are turned and, as it is easy to take apart, cleaning of this attractive way of offering fruit is simple.
I hand turn these unique wooden plates which are various sizes, colours and shapes.
This interesting way of offering pálinka, or other shots, comes as an electric guitar and accoustic guitar. I make indentations in the form into which simple, sand-blown pálinka glasses (6 glasses) fit. The neck offers a secure way to hold them while offering the glasses to guests…
I make a course in the turned hardwood so you can crack the walnut with the help of the screw. A beautifully turned bowl with walnuts and the nutcracker – time for the guests to arrive.
Made of hardwood and plywood with solid rubber tyres and a seat that can be adjusted. The handlebars have rubber grips. I apply a hard varnish that stands the test of time and use to the surface. It is excellent for developing children’s sense of balance and coordination.
Just like the reindeer – but the family got bigger a year later.
Just like the pony, but this reindeer figure is specially created for Christmas.
A simple traditional wooden toy. A horse figure on four wheels that can be pulled with a hemp string. Small children love it when an animal follows them like this.
Gyerekkorom legkedveltebb fajátéka. Pár darab léc, egy kis madzag, s máris kész a légtornász. (Kémeim jelentése szerint olimpiai bajnokok ilyenekkel tökéletesítik magukat a téli felkészülés során.)
(with a spring). This hanging spring figure creates a magic Christmas atmosphere.
A simple wooden toy that develops skill. The aim: to get all five balls into the centre of the labyrinth. It might appear simple at first glance. Good luck…
Modern military equipment. This wooden toy is essential in storming the castle. With the help of grapes we can also cut through attacking infantry too.
I strengthen the rifle stock and the barrel with glue. A leather sling strap means it can be carried on the shoulder. If children decorate the stock of the rifle with silver nails, then they have the famous / infamous Winnetou “silver rifle”…
The spear was a popular handheld weapon in the early Middle Ages. The tip of the spear has been blunted and the edge is also rounded. I glue the spear tip to the handle and binding it with leather strips to make it stronger.
Kétkezes kard, megerősített kivitelben, lovas rohamokhoz kiválóan alkalmas.
An old wooden toy revived from the folk traditions. A more modern version of the “hobby horse” that children can ride, gripping between their legs to “spur” on their mount…
Made for children to aim and fire. I include half a dozen cork-ended and suckered arrows. This wooden toy cannot cause harm. The firing – up to 3-4 metres – is with 3-mm hat elastic. It includes a leather shoulder strap. Children can fire the suckered arrows at the playroom door, painted surfaces and windows.
Cut from 5-mm plywood, polished and decorated with medieval motives (dragon, Maltese cross). It can be the classic shild shape or circular. A band for the lower arm is attached with 4 studs.
This battle weapon is used to break through armour. Naturally the edge is blunted. I use a strong glue to secure the axe and the handle. There is a short hemp rope at the end of the handle that prevents children from losing their “weapons” in the heat of the battle.
(curved, straight) Strong and sturdy. I also make a straight medieval version, the sabre, with a handguard.
Typical of early medieval times, the simplest mode of transport for many. A horse pulls a structure without suspension. Unproportionally large wheels were necessary to travel the roads which were so difficult to pass. The horse can be unclipped and used on its own.
The traditional old cart was pulled by oxen. The halter can be removed from the oxen, and the dragbar can be detached from the cart. This toy can roll and even be used to carry heavy loads.
Consists of 4 elements. Made from leftover pieces of wood, a simplified wooden toy. There are 3 carriages in addition to the engine.
Various options. The articulated lorry made of very solid wood can be used in various ways (flat-bed lorry, covered, fuel truck, trailer, etc.). They can be detached and changed. I recommend this wooden toy for work on flat surfaces and motorways.
This lorry has a tipper plate and the back door also moves. The 3-axle wooden toy has 6 wheels that make it excellent on rough ground.
2-axle wooden toy made of hardwood that rolls superbly. The cab is my own design, limited series that has simplified and speeded up production, and the parts are very accurately sized. In this the back is fixed and it is great for delivery of smaller items.
Fire engine body on a special lorry base. The ladder can be turned on a swivel and moved up and down. Firemen love using it, but it is also excellent for fixing overhead cables too.
An old type of mechanical loader. It was from this basic model that later loaders developed. The tower can be turned and the position of the buckets can be fixed. Development of a caterpillar version is underway.
An old-style Volvo sand that “moved” an enormous quantity in my childhood served as the model for this sand mover. With the help of two cunning taps by the front wheels the loader lifts and goes down as the toy is moved.
This simple tractor and trailer can be detached from one another. The tractor’s front undercarriage is independent so it can move up and down. It has no cabin so it is mainly recommended for use in fine weather.
Made of hardwood, planing and polishing create its classic shape. My little ones participated in creating the driver’s face – amidst great laughter. The body is treated with paraffin oil and the wheels are left in their natural state to give an interesting contrast. This is the ideal “entry model” to higher categories.
Made from fruit and exotic woods, the interlinked pattern is glued. A wooden screw adds stability to the French clip base.

I am László Czegle, traditional toy maker, woodworking artist and craftsman.
My job is also my vocation. I inherited my love of my craft, encouraged by family, from my Grandfather, a respected cabinet maker in a small village. I moved to the tiny Zemplén village of Erdőbénye – to the valley of coopers – from Debrecen in 1998.
