The raw materials come from the local forests, I saw up the wood and stock it so that, after a period of natural drying, it reaches the suitable ater content and I can use it as a raw material.<\/p>\n<p>The work is worked by hand or by machine. The final assembly, fitting and surface treatments is always hand done.<\/p>\n<p>I try to create contrasts between the various parts simply by using the colours of the different woods. I do not paint my work, nor stain it and I often use it in its natural state. The occasional surface treatment is using paraffin oil from the chemists.
